Tofu Lettuce Wraps

Mahaley created an amazing recipe for Tofu Lettuce Wraps and we can't wait to show it to you. It's quick and easy to make and super healthy! Just in case you don't know, Soy Sauce has gluten in it. Major bummer, but a simple solution is gluten free Tamari soy sauce. Mahaley also shares her secret substitute for oyster sauce, agave.

Ingredients:

1 cup sliced water chestnuts
3/4 chopped green onion
15 oz cubed tofu 
1 1/4 TBSP tamari 
2 1/2 TBSP agave 
Large leaf lettuce



Instructions:
Chop up your water chestnuts, green onions and tofu.
Start by sautéing your tofu with 1 tbs of Tamari and 1 tbs of agave.
After your tofu is cooked and starting to turn brown add the onions and chestnuts.
Add a 1/4 tbs of Tamari and 1 1/2 tbs of agave and continue to sauté.
After about 7 minutes you are ready to serve the tofu mix on your bib or red leaf lettuce 



This will make you 4 gluten free and vegan lettuce wraps.  Each wrap is only 160 calories per serving.
